Editorial Policy

BetterLifeReads.com exists to help readers choose practical self-help books with less hype and more context. This policy explains how we approach recommendations, updates, and corrections.

How we choose topics

We focus on everyday reader problems such as habits, focus, anxiety, boundaries, confidence, relationships, and career transitions. Article topics are chosen based on reader usefulness, search intent, book availability, and whether a guide can provide clear comparisons.

How we evaluate books

We look for books with a clear promise, practical takeaways, relevant audience fit, durable reader interest, and enough substance to justify a recommendation. When a book is better for a specific reader than a general audience, we try to say so.

Affiliate independence

Some articles contain affiliate links. Affiliate commissions do not determine whether a book appears in an article or receives a positive description. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Updates and corrections

We may update articles when books change availability, better recommendations become available, or factual issues are found. To report a correction, use the contact page.
